Before She Dies is released

BEFORE SHE DIES my latest romantic suspense novel hits the stores January 31, 2012.  This book is one of my favorites and I hope you enjoy!

Summer 2011

Hard to believe summer is winding down.  The neighborhood kids are getting ready for school, the days are getting shorter and I’m already gearing up to tailgate at a few fall football games.  Most of my summer was spent at the computer but I did manage to get away a few times.  Thought I’d share some pics of my summer adventures.

Summer kicked off at Lori Foster's Readers and Author Get Together. Had a great time!

RWA in NYC was my next stop! Always great to see old pals and visit the big city.

4th of July was all about cooking out and firecrackers by the lake. These are the days I dream about in January.

Summer also means my birthday! Here I am with my friends from the YMCA!

Took a couple of Vegan cooking classes. My favorite dish of all was guacamole.

Managed to grab a few days at Nags Head beach in North Carolina. Love the beach!

Even got a henna tatoo.

A Visit to New York City

I arrived a day early for the New Jersey Romance Writers Conference so I could spend the day in New York City.  I had a great day visiting Time’s Square, wandering through the Garment District and just taking in all the city’s energy.

MB took the train in from NJ to the city.

Here I am with fellow VRW writer Natale Stenzel at the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum.

A great slice of pizza!

A Visit to Lexington, VA

I can’t visit any town without checking out the local bookstore.  Sunday I was in Lexington, Virginia and had the chance to stop by Books & Co.  It’s a great little store and I wandered for nearly an hour in their stacks.  I finally settled on a cookbook.

Writer’s Police Academy

I attended the Writers Police Academy this past weekend in Jamestown, NC.  This event was jam-packed with demonstrations and seminars.  I attended a session on “Why People Kill”, an autopsy seminar, guns, profiling serial offenders and undercover work.  This is an event I will definitely attend again!
