The Zebra Girls

Costumes at the Faery Ball were some of the best this year!

I had the pleasure of attending the FBI Citizen’s Academy Meeting a couple of days ago. We had two great speakers including Daryl Hulce who discussed the FBI-Safe On-Line Surfing also known as the FBI-SOS Program (http://www.fbi-sos.org). The FBI-SOS program “empowers the Internet Generation to recognize and react to online dangers.”
Also speaking was Ryan Kules who represented the Wounded Warrior Project (http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org). The Wounded Warrior Project “raises awareness and enlists the public to aid severely injured service men and women.”
Both these programs are non-profit and I encourage you to visit their websites.

So I was able to take a few days off this past week and thought I’d share photos of a few adventures.

Whether working or not, days always start with yoga.

Spring days are meant for walking in Richmond.

Downtown Richmond.

Decorated Easter Eggs with children from the city.

Spent the day at Virginia Beach.

Neptune oversees the Boardwalk at Virginia Beach.

Many old buildings have historic markers. The earliest I saw was 1905.

One of my favorite old homes in the historic district.

The Confederate Chapel

St. Gertrude's High School

I think this is an old coal chute.
