Saturday I drove up to the Washington, D.C. area to attend the January meeting of Sisters in Crime/Chesapeake. The featured speakers were Washington Post reporters Sari Horwitz and Scott Higham. The reporters offered an in-depth reconstruction of the Chandra Levy case. Levy, as you may remember, was the Washington, D.C. intern who vanished in 2001. Her remains were discovered a year later in Washington, D.C’s Rock Creek Park. Horwitz’s and Higham’s account of the case was fascinating and well worth the drive. If you’d like to read their twelve part series on the case, the link is: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/metro/specials/chandra/.
